Stocks and Lies was a 'quick read' with an interesting storyline and a friendly cast of characters.

For me, the timeline didn't quite add up. Maybe if I'd read rather than listened to this, the nuances wouldn't have escaped me but there wee times when I felt like I'd missed something.

Overall though it didn't really detract from my enjoyment of the story. I wonder though how much more invested I would have become with a longer version if, some points along the way, were more fully fleshed out.

I'd certainly read, and listen to, works from this author again.
