About this listen

Five years.

That’s how long it took me to find her.

Five years after my world shattered, leaving me a scarred and broken man.

By then, the girl I knew was gone. In her place stood a woman. One who looked like an angel. An impossible, beautiful angel.

I killed for her. Soaked my hands in the blood of those who hurt her and rescued her from hell.

But hell has a way of following you. Becoming a part of you. Maybe the only part you recognize.

I had every intention of bringing her home. Setting her free.

I swear I did.

But the men who stole her all those years ago weren’t done with her yet. They’d stop at nothing to get her back. And I’d kill any man who tried to take her from me.

She calls me her avenging angel.

But I know the truth.

I’m no angel.

Because even as I tell myself I’m protecting her, I know one thing for sure.

I am a monster, too. No better than them.

Because just like them, I’ll never let her go.

Author's note: Stolen is Dante Grigori's story, and although a stand-alone, would be better enjoyed after reading With This Ring and I Thee Take.

Dante’s Vow, another no holds barred mafia romance following on from ‘With this Ring’ and ‘I Thee Take’ (although book 3 can very much be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the first 2 books first, because - The Grigori Brothers!). This time we have Cristiano’s brother Dante front and centre. After reading the previous 2 books I needed this story. Dante and Mara, both fighting their demons, and there are a lot of them, both past and present. For years Dante has been searching for Mara, when he finally gets his chance he takes it. Of course it’s not an easy transition for anyone, and Mara is a hot commodity, everyone it seems wants a piece of her, and protecting her is not going to be as simple as Dante first thought. Does she even want saving? There’s a question. A rollercoaster ride throughout, so many secrets, as well as a few surprises thrown in and amongst. Do you believe in destiny? I do. Narration from Wen Ross and Stefanie Kay, utter perfection. I love Wen’s deep rumbly voice, the perfect bad boy persona, I couldn’t think of a more perfect narrator for Dante.

Heart-stopping

Loved every second of this series. I just couldn't wait to get back to it each time I had to stop it was so intense, the was something happening all the time.
As for the narrators they were good but I don't see the point of having them both if they don't read the dialogue according to the gender. I don't like it that the characters have a different voice everytime the narrator changes.
But I love these books by Natasha Knight. I am now going to listen to Jericho's story who was one of the characters in this duet.

another absolutely brilliant story

Narrators were spot on love the duel narrtion but wish they read according to gender. Recommend anyone reading these 3 books fantastic series kept me enthralled so glad there were a happy ending for Dante and Mara

Dante the fallen angel, is a man on a mission. This story is beautifully written. I'm glad this book has a happy ending.

Jericho from the Devil's pawn is also a character in this book. I got so excited because before I listened to this story I had just listened to the Devil's Pawn Duet.

I recommend this book, make sure you listen to the other two books before this one.
