Having read all the books set in the Zandian world and listened to a number of the stories in audio. Khrys & Kailani’s story is about hope. They have both experienced pain and together they find love. But as he has not been quite truthful with her as to why he helped her escape from her captives their growing bond is under threat. This couple are so sweet together, they learn from each other to accept the past and support and encourage to move forward. Tissues for the ending, it was a perfect finish. 5 stars well deserved here.
