About this listen

Feeling stuck, invisible, or unsure what this next season of life is supposed to look like? Successful Aging for Women over 50 is your invitation to start living fully — on your terms.

This isn’t about “aging gracefully” by fading into the background. It’s about aging boldly, with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

I wrote this book after recovering from three major surgeries — a season that forced me to slow down, reflect, and completely rethink how I wanted to live the rest of my life. Somewhere along the way, I stopped staying “inside the lines” and started expanding my horizons, including learning how to ride a motorcycle and embracing freedom in ways I never had before.

That journey changed everything. And it’s why this book is deeply personal, honest, and supportive.

Inside, you’ll learn practical tools to:

  • Make peace with your past and release regret
  • Practice mindfulness meditation that boosts mood and energy
  • Treat yourself with patience, self-respect, and compassion
  • Create deeper, more genuine connections
  • Rebuild confidence and feel visible and valued again
  • Improve sleep and embrace play at any age

This book is a reminder that your golden years aren’t about slowing down — they’re about waking up. You deserve joy, fulfillment, and lasting mental, physical, and emotional wellness. It's time to become the Queen-ager you were always meant to be.

This book completely redefines aging—not as a list of challenges but as a chance to truly thrive and embrace each stage of life. This is just what I needed- I am in my 50's, and recently an empty nester. I am living on my own doing a business, and sorting out the next part of life. This has been such a positive, motivational book for me. I appreciate the way the author approached health and longevity, integrating physical fitness, mental clarity, and emotional strength so you can feel vibrant from the inside out. The advice is both practical and uplifting, giving you realistic steps to boost your well-being. I particularly appreciated the focus on body positivity and self-love; instead of pushing unrealistic beauty standards, it celebrates the natural beauty of a well-cared-for body at every age. This was a good reminder to take time for self-care, I really enjoyed listening to this book and I will probably listen again because it is important to have good habits.

What I liked most is how motivating it is. It reminds you that you’re still in control of your life, and small changes can make a big difference. If you're feeling unsure about the future, this book offers a positive and uplifting outlook.

Yes, this book is written with women in mind. However, almost everything is applicable no matter who you are. The advice on easy ways to keep your brain and body happy and healthy as you age are delivered in a wonderfully friendly way, and make you feel excited about actually making the changes. This book does a great job of pointing out that you don't have to change your whole life, which is difficult, but that if you just make a couple small changes here and there you can amplify the quality of your life in your later years. Well done and full of interesting and useful advice.

I like this book's holistic, proactive approach. It insists that you have a powerful "say" in how you live your life, and then provides the practical tools to make that choice real. The book integrates mindset and physical health. It offers clear, actionable steps to improve mental health, prevent cognitive decline, and implement techniques to convert negative thinking into positive thoughts. This approach ensures that you don't just live longer, but live authentically and presently.

As a woman in my early 60s, I’ve read many books about staying healthy. This book was fantastic; it felt personal and practical. It gave me a clear sense of direction about how to make small, realistic changes that actually fit my life. I especially enjoyed the section on mindset and body image, as I often look in the mirror at my body and, to be honest, dislike my abdomen and arms. It reminds me that confidence and health aren’t about perfection, but about progress. I’ve initiated implementing some of the suggested daily habits, and I feel more energized and optimistic. It’s refreshing to find a book that speaks honestly about aging without making it feel like a crisis. This is one I’ll keep nearby as a reminder that thriving after 60 is absolutely possible.
