Slow to get started, but was a great story with a twist I didn't see coming - looking forward to the rest of the series. I loved that the main character was still married.

I have to start out by saying this isn’t a book that I would normally pick to read but it was selected for a reading challenge that I’m participating in so I decided to give it a try. Boy I am I glad that I did. This book grabbed me right from the beginning and didn’t let go. I loved everything about it.

I loved the relationship between the 3 main female characters and I loved that they were all over 40. It’s so refreshing to read a story about characters that aren’t in their 20’s. Other than the psychic stuff I felt like this was a story that could have been happening in real life. The women and their struggles were things that felt very real and relatable.

I also can’t say enough good things about Ava Lucas’s performance of this story; it was absolutely fantastic. She truly was acting the story, not just narrating it. The voices she gave each character were really good and well done. I am fairly picky about female voice actors because I usually prefer to listen to a male voice but I wouldn’t hesitate to listen to more audiobooks that this performer does.
