The infection didn’t just destroy civilization.

It exposed what people were willing to become to survive.

Months after the collapse, Cotton Wiley and the survivors of Cypress Mill are trying to build a life in the ruins of America. But peace doesn’t last long in a broken world.

A new breed of infected is spreading across Texas—faster, stronger, and far more dangerous than the cannibals that came before. The survivors call them the Wasted. And wherever they appear, entire communities fall.

At the same time, rumors of invasion and war are spreading through the survivor networks. Russian forces are moving deeper into the country, armed factions are preparing for conflict, and powerful men inside the remaining City States may know more about the outbreak than they admit.

As Cotton and his group are pulled into a growing nightmare, they begin uncovering terrifying truths about this new generation of the infected, and the people behind it all.

Survival of the Sickestis a gritty, action-packed post-apocalyptic survival novel filled with relentless tension, brutal realism, and unforgettable characters fighting to hold onto their humanity after the end of the world.

I really liked the first book and this book was no disappointment, it was a great listen and I really got into the different relationships. There were a few curve balls thrown which worked well and kept the story going.

The narration really suits the story.

I will be looking for more by both the author and narrator.

Worked really well
