About this listen

A new world. A magical sword. A kingdom in peril.

When Yorick moves into his grandfather's house and discovers a magical sword, he opens a portal into a fantasy realm known as Exigen.

Talk about being thrown into the deep end. If he wants to survive, he must battle monsters, level up, and learn to avoid vicious tentacle monsters.

With the fate of the Kingdom in peril, only Yorick and his enchanted sword can save the princess and thwart the forces of evil.

Join the adventure of a lifetime in this new action-packed isekai LitRPG adventure from Ryan Rimmel, bestselling author of Noobtown.

I loved noobtown. Noobtown was everything this isn't. if you are here because you liked noobtown, don't.

this is plain vanilla, a bit cringy and the sword is just plain annoying. Also thr performance is not great. I am not certain if I will finish this...

a bit more detail, spoiler warning. This is a plain vanilla class, adventure and progression...the mc doesn't even get to choose anything for hinself. the sword considers him too dumb to do it for himself. At the same time the class, or maybe just the sword, is op. The mc pretends to the "role" and everyone just swoons. Maybe theres a huge reversal in there somewhere, but frankly I keep listening and have found it to be unexceptional so far.

Vanilla and a bit cringy
