About this listen

After surviving political chaos in the Dwarven Empire and two assassination attempts, Syl's journey takes another sharp turn. What began as a visit in stone halls among scheming nobles ended with unforeseen consequences and an unlikely friendship.

Now, Syl and Vee find themselves in the hands of the elves, far from familiar lands. Can our troublesome duo survive in these lands? Will Syl's disguise hold, or will the slimy truth need to come out? And, more importantly, what rewards are waiting around the corner?

I honestly love this series. It’s a litrpg but it doesn’t actually get too much into the character sheet and actually leans into the silliness of the concept while avoiding the trap of sacrificing the story for humor. I could personally have gone for more powertrippy stuff but this is such a good time that I honestly don’t care much. If you haven’t started this series because you feel that it would either be a copy of every slime book that’s already been released or that you wouldn’t enjoy reading walls of abilities with no character interactions then have no fear. This is a good one.
