With Alanah having ascended, Derek now has a favor to fulfill.

a good continuation of the story the pacing if abit off at times but all in all good edition

the first half of the book is as boring as the previous on, but then it picks up with the invasion and brings back what i like about the first couple books

Loved it, but here are some minor issues I had with it: The covers and chapter titles continue to be extremely spoilery and the ending is very unsatisfying due to cutting out abruptly at a cliffhanger.

Also the series is repeating some inner monologue, forgetting to do things the mc has decided to do several times, rejuvenation spell is suddenly a self-only spell, the MC yoinked a resurrection skill scroll, yet stll hasn't given it to anyone and continues to use potions. Has seemingly completely forgotten the skill boost cake he has in his inventory that the bunny can make. He kills/defeats the most powerful sentient enemies at this system tier yet no one has any loot. Goes to Earth yet refuses to pickup coffee and other things he complains not having access to
