Bought the second book in the duet before I'd finished the first, that should say it all about the book. Both narrators are brilliant, this is the first audio book I've heard from James Joseph, holy smokes he's fantastic!

Reading this through audio was tricky at first as you hsve to get used to the Narrators voices. However, once the story got going I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to listen to number 2 and find out what happens next. Really great writing by Bea Paige.

this book was a great read, very gripping and a great ending to want you to read the 2nd book

the characters

The FMC is a strong 17 year old woman that had to grow up fast due to the environment she was brought up in. She is in love with 1 of her father's enforcers, and things get really complicated, specially as her father starts behaving as a major ah. The story was good, but there wassomething missing that i can't quite pin point.
