loved the narration of Michael Langan, who brings the drama, characters and Mr Holmes to your ears.

Holmes and Watson are used to challenges and vicious cases. Once more they are drawn into a nightmare of a murder case, a beautiful woman and a seemingly innocence people who seem capable of killing in cold blood. We have tragedy, danger, will and these Holmes and Watson find their way out of this nightmares.

These tales definitely lean towards the dark in theme yet are engaging and sophisticated Holmes stories. They also avoid the worse of 'Americanisms'. If you're looking for a new Holmes collection this is one worth getting.
