This is a fun little cozy mystery that contains a fun and mischievous dog that gets his owners into all sorts of trouble. This is book two and book one is told in Olive's perspective as she solves a case and in this book the mystery is solved by Flannery. Both are fun listens and can be heard separately as they are stand alone books but this book does continue where the last one left off. I liked the characters especially Boo Radley, the dog and thought the small town setting was perfect for this cozy mystery. The mystery was good and I liked the way your weren't really sure why the murders accrued until the end because there was plenty of suspect and motives. It did get a bit annoying how often Olive went missing while on a walk and the police were called but other than that I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next book.
With Olive's arm still in plaster it is up to Flannery to walk there dog Boo or should I say Boo to walk Flannery. It is on one of the jaunts that Boo breaks out of Flannery's hold and finds a dead book in an abandoned house. It's not just any body, the intermediary is the quest speaker at the ladies tea party, The same tea party that has rejected Flannery for the past six years and the same lady who stole the plot line of Flannery's book. So guess who cones under suspicion of the murder? But if that was the case then why would Flannery kill the woman's husband as well? To keep herself out of jail Flannery will need to solve both of the murders and all in a week if she wants the job of guests speaker.
I liked the narrator as she does a good job with all the voices by giving them there own unique sound.

I honestly couldn't get past the audio performance by the narrator. I don't know what it was but from the jump, I was confused as to what was going on and why everyone sounded the same.
