I absolutely loved the story and the sheer intricate imagination it took to bring it out
it started out a bit slow, but that was understandable in a well organized world building
some characters appeared juvenile at first, however I loved listening to them grow and develop
the story reminded greatly of Greek myths and how the gods don't care about mortals or their kinds.
Although it was One POV from Aislinn's side, something I do not appreciate in fantasy, but I felt here it was necessary especially since the story was not romance oriented at first
I know in book 2 we'll have multiple POVs which is great
I commend the author on her writing style and descriptions. I could picture everything in my mind with her words

Books I love and been turned off buy the vocalist… Absolutely loving and engaged.

I hadn’t heard of this book and so went into this book completely blind.
This is one of those books that definitely needs to be shouted about and needs so much more attention than it has.
If you love romantasy style books, then this is a book that you absolutely need to read.
I actually won the audiobook of this and it’s one of those books that definitely kept me gripped right from the beginning.
The narration of this book was done exceedingly well with a duel narration where the female does the female part and the male does the male parts. I really struggle with books where the female does the male voices and vice versa..
I really enjoyed listening to this book and the voice actors did a fantastic job. They really bought the story to life and kept me engaged throughout..
The story is intriguing with twists and turns many you don’t see coming and I can’t wait to start book 2.
