Critic reviews

"Morrissey's research into the pearling industry and the history of Broome is formidable ... she tells a good story." (The Sydney Morning Herald)

This is the second of her books and my first on audible.

I like me the story but given the vastness of your country I admire that she really does her research on the geography of the area spot on.

I can’t be sure as a tourist but I suspect she’s probably very accurate in getting character of people right too. Particularly as I saw copies of this in a well established pearl shop

Well worth a shot
