About this listen

Popular Lost Cities author David Hatcher Childress takes us into the amazing world of ancient technology, from computers in antiquity to the flying machines of the gods. Childress looks at the technology that was allegedly used in Atlantis and the theory that the Great Pyramid of Egypt was originally a gigantic power station.

He examines tales of ancient flight and the technology that it involved; how the ancients used electricity; megalithic building techniques; the use of crystal lenses and the fire from the gods; evidence of various high tech weapons in the past, including atomic weapons; ancient metallurgy and heavy machinery; the role of modern inventors such as Nikola Tesla in bringing ancient technology back into modern use; impossible artifacts; and more.

it's tricky for me to write a review for this, as it's completely nuts the poor narrator, does a great job considering what he's been asked to read, in a serious manor. it's perfect for me though. As I do enjoy listening to these when I can't give it my full attention, as some background comedy. Great listening to all their "evidence". Saying quote from books written by your crackpot colleges, is not proof, no matter how you dress it up 😂

Thanks for the book and thank you Paul for the incredible job narrating!

I'm sure some people must believe

Fantastically researched with a lot of new (to me) information about just how far human civilisation actually goes when it comes to our technological advancement. What this book also brings to life is the ignorance of powerful men at various times in our history being so petrified of being forgotten, that they’d erase previous history and destroy written materials just so that the previous knowledge is lost and only their chapter of history is remembered.

That’s probably my biggest take away - just how much further advanced we, as species, would be if we didn’t have egotistical power grabbing individuals deciding just what humanity should, or should not know. How we should progress technologically, spiritually and as a species in general. Always in some way overshadowed by a small group of individuals seeing themselves as the ‘elite’. And cycle after cycle of history, we - the people - still allow for this loop to repeat itself instead of learning the lesson.

Compelling listen, well written by David Hatcher Childress, and well narrated by Paul Woodson. Recommend.

Compelling, engaging and thought provoking

An open minded view of the mysteries (and conspiracies) of ancient history. Considering the most controversial rather than the most sensational. 5*

Exelent
