Summary

I did enjoy the writing style. however, I found the story extremely predictable. to the point were I'm reluctant to read the others. I think I'll read some of Ivy Smoaks other works first.

absolutely loved this book ,start of a series following penny and James love story. at times you wanted to throttle penny for being so immature but we'll worth following the story to completion.

Struggled with how young the narrator sounds and there's very little difference interpreting the voice of the male characters

As a huge 50 shades fan I thought I’d give this a go. However I found the story to be pretty mediocre and Penny herself very annoying. The girl who reads the book also sounds like she has a cold and read the book in a constant drone which grated on me a bit. I managed to finish but it was really cringe in places. I won’t be continuing with the sequels :(

Honestly? It felt like I was reading a fanfiction written by a 16 Yr old.
There is a LOT of repeatition - SEXY being the biggest -also, I want him - I need him - Adams apple rise and fall - has the author not heard of synonyms? And when a sex scene came, instead of looking forward to it I groaned, not another one!
Penny was annoying as f! And Melissa was even worse.
