Summary

Children are killing themselves across the state of Tennessee. Is it a horrible coincidence, or are dark forces at work?

When Jack Nightingale learns that there is a mysterious list of children who are at risk, he takes the case, spurred on by the fact that he knows one of the names, and that makes it personal. His investigation brings him up against a demon from hell who is being used on a mission of revenge. But if Nightingale is to save the children and his own soul, he’ll need help from an old adversary.

Well I am running out of choices, with Stephen Leather books, and this certainly kept me entertained whilst gardening

My favourite narrator too! Paul Thornley draws you in with every character, excellent listening

Another excellent book

The Nightingale books are always interesting, there are some repetitive bits to put people new to the stories in the picture but it’s not a problem. Paul Thornley is an excellent narrator and I could probably listen to any old rubbish read by him. That said, this story is not rubbish and for me is one of the best Nightingale stories so far.

Good story - allegedly!

I came across my first Stephen Leather audio book, Nightfall, and have been hooked on the Jack Nightingale series since.

Tennesee Night is brilliantly written with twists and turns that leaves Nightingale frustrated. Those he turns to for help either refuse or send him farther down supernatural blind alleys.

Another good Stephen Leather story
