Gangland boss Zander Finn is so sickened by the brutal murder of his son in a Paisley pub, he decides to change his life. Loved this book. A great gangland crime novel with a number of twists. Loved the humour to be found amongst the violence and mayhem. Hats off to Angus King too.

Terms of restitution by Denzil Meyrick is a stand alone book. It is an amazing story and the narration by Angus King was amazing. He brought all of the characters to life. One of the outstanding characters was Maggie, the mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a formidable character and I can’t remember laughing so much listening to some of her one liners.
The storytelling was amazing, the book brought Glasgow to life in all of its sordid glory and the characters were unforgettable.
I really enjoyed reading this book and the narration was superb.

Another great story from this author. A break from the DCI Daley books but the gripping storylines, three dimensional characters and humour are still there. The narrator is a perfect fit for this book.

Great stand alone story

What a great story. Funny and horrific at the same time.
The characters are wonderful as you would expect from the great storyteller Denzil Meyrick. As a grandmother myself I hold Maggie up as a fine example of how to grow older although I have yet to master eggs, beans and chips.
Angus King brought the whole book to life with his marvellous narration. He nailed the characters perfectly.
I loved it and will probably listen to it again just for the sheer entertainment. Can’t say that about many audio books.
