About this listen

‘Just focus more…’

‘Just try harder…’

‘Just spend less time on your phone…’

For decades, ADHD has been primarily associated with the image of the naughty, disruptive boy, leading countless neurodivergent women struggling to cope. Now, following a surge in late diagnosis among women, a prevailing new narrative is that it’s ‘…just a trend.’

If you’re tired of being told just to get on with it – even by yourself! – this audiobook is for you. In THE ADHD Women’s Wellbeing Toolkit Coach and Podcaster, Kate Moryoussef shares the psychology and science behind the challenges faced by women with ADHD and lays out a roadmap for you to uncover your authentic self.

With practical tools on how to manage the mental, emotional, physical and hormonal burnout and to lean into your unique strengths to create more energy, joy and creativity, this audiobook will help you (re)learn to not only live with this brain difference, but also thrive with it.

Kate Moryoussef is a wellbeing and lifestyle coach, EFT practitioner, mum to four kids and the host of the chart-topping podcast The ADHD Woman’s Wellbeing Podcast, which has generated 1.2 million downloads since its launch in early 2022. Kate regularly hosts one-off workshops, which she promotes on her podcast, and has many free and low-cost courses and workshops available at www.adhdwomenswellbeing.co.uk. She is a regular contributor to ADDitudemag.com - a well-respected and leading site for peer-reviewed medical information on neurodiversity, as well as more lifestyle management support.

So many useful tips for a late diagnosis

I just finished listening to The ADHD Women’s Toolkit on Audible and I’m so glad I found it. This isn’t one of those vague self-help books—it’s full of genuinely practical advice, easy-to-understand explanations, and tools I can actually use in everyday life.

What stood out most to me was how *relatable* and *non-judgmental* it felt. It was like having a wise friend walk me through what ADHD means for women specifically, and how to manage it in a way that works *with* my brain, not against it.

The narration by Kate was absolutely brilliant—calm, warm, and clear. She made even the more emotional or complex parts easy to digest and listen to.

I’d recommend this to any woman who suspects she might have ADHD, has recently been diagnosed, or just wants to better understand herself. A really empowering, helpful listen.

A really practical guide

This book has been a game changer for me. As someone who has struggled for years with focus, memory, and the constant feeling of being “a million miles an hour,” I finally feel I have the tools to help. The author doesn’t just throw clinical advice at you — they break everything down with warmth, clarity, and a deep understanding of what it actually feels like to live with ADHD and it feel brave and personable.

What really stood out to me was how the book tells you how to recognise issues Instead of trying to change who you are. It gives easy strategies to help manage the ADHD brain. Helping you build routines, manage overwhelming emotions, and stop the self-blame cycle. I especially appreciated the tips on emotional regulation and the need for self compassion. Nothing felt preachy or overwhelming. It’s like getting advice from a very wise (and very kind) friend.
