Summary

Brilliant second book. I've been waiting ages for this as the first book was Great. Love the narrator and the author Always Rolls A One is a GOAT.... His other series is amazing too.....

Overall I enjoyed the book, the story and it's progression is great along with the magic system being very interesting. There are however two things that bothe me and those are the mc and his best friend.

The mcs only real issue is his interaction with most of the females who have an interest in him. For some reason he is able to easily read most characters and there intent yet when it comes to certain characters he has a habit of unintentionally slapping them in the face with his response to them and he does this on numerous occasions to people who genuinely want to help and support him.

Now his friend is a whole different story. At first I quite liked there friendship as his friend showed true loyalty and care for his friend, but as the story has progressed it feel like he just considers his friend as a tool for money and the women around him as entertainment he can through away when someone even slightly attractive interests him.

If nothing is done to develop the character of the mc and his friend I'm not sure how long I'd read this series for as seeing these kind of interactions pull me away from enjoying the great story that otherwise exists in this series.

Anyone who is into this genere would enjoy this book, it's well written and progress nicelly. This has been a great listen, and I wish for more to be released already, always a good problem to have.

I've only had two points of feedback for the story so far ment for the author;
1. everyone seems to be a loveintress and it gets a bit repetitive.
2. there are also alot of characters, book series can manage alot of characters but it usually requires that the characters are distinct enough as characters and within settings that are connected to their character.

I really like the author takes his time to develop the main character. Well the only thing that i disliked is that it seems like the main character is so bad at reading people.

It was exciting from start to finish , very similar to a soldier’s life but that was also a fantastic series. Waiting for more
