I find I don’t like straying too far from works by Anthony Horowitz and narrations by Jonathan Keeble so was delighted to listen to this little nugget. Now to find some more. Very enjoyable.

Terrific

Old school Homes & Watson. Nice setting at Xmas. Short, perhaps too short but enjoyable AH has another winner!

A clever and concise story. Good performance.

I bought this because I enjoyed the house of silk and thought Anthony Horowitz had carried on the story of Sherlock Holmes in the traditional way but I was greatly disappointed. I didn’t realise it was so short which meant it didn’t have the usual twists and turns of Sir Conan Doyle’s works. I felt it was shallow and without intrigue.

Great disappointment
