About this listen

Discover a fun and easy workbook to help navigate social situations and overcome anxiety through DBT techniques - no adult supervision needed!

Being a teenager isn’t easy. It will help you remember that, no matter how bad the storm gets, you are safe. And you are capable of facing it.

Aside from numerous DBT-based exercises that will help you manage your anxiety and thrive, this book will also cover:

  • The power of staying grounded and aware of the present
  • How many people live their life on autopilot - and why this may be contributing to your anxiety
  • The truth about multitasking (hint: it may not be as efficient as you think)
  • What the Opposite Action skill is…and how it can be just the tool you need to help you

Emotions are hard to understand - even for adults.

As a teenager, you’re struggling with a lot of emotional ups and downs. You’ve got really high highs and really low lows. Throw anxiety into the mix, and it’s no wonder you have days where you just want to stay in bed.- But you can’t live your life hiding and hoping the rain will stop. Sometimes, you need to go out and weather the storm.

That’s what this book is about. It will give you the tools you need, so you don’t have to spend your teenage years limited by bad weather. It will use fun, easy activities to help you get a handle on your thoughts, emotions, and triggers. It will help you remember that, no matter how bad the storm gets, you are safe. And you are capable of facing it.

It might take you a while to manage your anxiety. It might take you months. It might take you years. It doesn’t matter. What does matter is that you’re ready and willing to take back control. You’re going to live life on your own terms instead of letting anxiety dictate how your day’s going to go.

If you’re ready to stop living life ruled by your anxiety and emotions and start living each moment fully present and fully immersed - no hesitations, no negative self-talk - then scroll up and buy this audiobook now!

I loved this audiobook because it includes relatable stories of teens struggling with anxiety. Because we have to remember, everyone feels alone with dealing with these emotions and the tips in this book really help teens to learn how to deal with it so that when they become adults (where we still feel anxiety sometimes), it'll be much easier. This process doesn't happen overnight but the audiobook encourages us to learn now things and conquer your anxiety successfully and thrive in life.

It seems like anxiety in teens is becoming a bigger and bigger problem these days. Maybe teens have more to be anxious about. There are a lot of pressures they have now that I didn't have to deal with when I was that age. This book had good exercises for any teen to practice so that they can get a better handle on things that cause anxiety.

In this beautifully produced audiobook, Blake Cameron shows teens how to manage anxiety through the use of DBT - Dialectical Behavior Therapy. It's chock full of useful strategies to be used both in groups and individually to manage stress, master your emotions , and develop resilience.

The guidance and wisdom is applicable and useful for all, but the workbook is specifically tailored to Teens - I should have had this book 10 years ago! It discusses a lot of the issues that Teens face, such as the stress of juggling academic responsibilities and part time work at the same time.

This workbook stands out from more "theoretical" pieces on the subject because it is so actionable and practical - Highly Recommend!
