About this listen

If you are a man that wishes to become more grounded and present—in relationship, socially, or at work—then this is the audiobook for you. It will show you how this is possible through the daily practice of Youngblood's specially designed embodiment exercises.

In fact, this is the number one thing that men can do to build their Masculine core. The practices are designed to ground and settle you at the nervous system level, where trauma and anxiety reside. When this happens, your reactivity—in the form of defensiveness, withdrawal, hiding, and blame—begins to subside. You are freed up to live life as a more powerful, relational man. One whose relationship has more loving, more sexuality, and more respect, with less fighting, criticism, and angst.

This is the follow up to the author's highly acclaimed The Masculine in Relationship, which offers a three-part blueprint on how men can build their Masculine core.

This works. This is the second book I have read by GS Youngblood. Both the embodiment practices and his verbal advice have been very beneficial for my relationship and my personal well-being. Men need these books!

Another fantastic read.

Hardly anything in here but meditation practices and cold plunges. I understand the notion of being comfortable being uncomfortable but slapping myself in the chest and growling is going to do very little for my relationships. I expected more.
