After the hunt, they each partake in a pain competition, where they are each given one minute to hurt their victim.

Finally, they each get a chance to turn their victim into a work of art.

Its world-building is basic but robust, its characters are a little flat but they serve their purpose. There is not a great deal of "story" going on here.

But if you're looking for a short dose of extreme horror featuring some impressively creative acts of violence (described in a mundane, matter-of-fact style) that may shock even experienced readers of extreme horror, then this is definitely one to check out.

I was given a copy of this audiobook to listen to and provide an unbiased review . Sea caummisar is fast becoming one of my favourite extreme horror writers. Although the book was short in length , it certainly packed a punch and was action packed throughout. Reminiscent of the purge and the hunger games with much more brutality. The book was so descriptive and I absolutely loved the narrators drawled accent . It.kept me engaged throughout.

Short but an action packed novella
