as much as I enjoyed listening, and will try another by this author, it was completely ppredictable and obvious of the real story. and I don't understand why books like this always make the main woman naive to the point of stupidity. it's very unrealistic. performance was spot on.

I was absolutely hooked in the first chapter of this brilliant book. I love the way that the author keeps you guessing all the time about what will happen, and just when you think you've worked it out there's another brilliant twist. Tamsins narration is as usual, her Scottish accents are perfect. I will definitely read other books by this author and narrator.

Firstly the narration from Tamsin Kennard was outstanding as always, I actually search for books with that narrator and have discovered a new favourite author as a result! Lots of twists and turns, characters were very well written and I really enjoyed the subject matter. I also appreciated that the author didn’t jump all over the place from different narrators perspectives and timelines, I felt I was in the one story from start to finish and that’s something I really enjoy in an audiobook. Looking forward to driving into the authors’s back catalogue now!
