"You know those people who always radiate cheerful optimism? Nauseating, aren't they?" So proclaims Isabel Losada, Starbucks addict, exercise-allergic and self-confessed sceptic as she sets out on the road to enlightenment. This work is suitable for those who have been tempted to dip a toe in the waters of self-discovery.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, I would recommend this to any of my friends who are interested in finding out more about themselves. The author reads her own book, which is a wonderful touch, and gives you insight into her search for more meaning in her life and about finding that "right" partner. I found it touching, humorous and interesting.Who was your favorite character and why?
The author is the main character and has a very funny and quirky way of describing the situations that she goes through along her path to enlightenment.Have you listened to any of Isabel Losada’s other performances? How does this one compare?
I think this may be the only audio performance the author has done, but I enjoyed listening to her read her own work. It certainly feels more personal, as if you are listening to her directly. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I really had to laugh quite a few times about things going in in various workshops, but I think the most moving part for me was the epilogue and how her life perspective had changed throughout the process she went through during the phases in the book.Any additional comments?
Definitely worth a listen!A wonderful companion on any journey
