distasteful content Spoilers/content warning: hero is not a nice person, the wedding night is far from pleasant and he is not bothered by servants 'forcing attentions' on others. In fact he 'takes advantage' of maids himself. Non concentual acts are r*pe. This is not what I am looking for in a romance book.

Could not get into this story .. the narration was distracting… everyone sounded the same and the pace was sooo slow….rather than drawing you into the story, it made me want to skip chapters - which I did.
