Another hit by LK Shaw! The Beast I Can't Tame, the third book in the Brooklyn Kings series, is a well-written and Forbidden Mafia romance. Giovanni (aka Gio) and Francesca were utterly captivating; I was completely enthralled. I've been waiting for their story from the start of the series. The dynamic and the connection between them was stunningly portrayed. Francesca is a true survivor; she had suffered, overcome brutal trauma and still carried the scars. Gio was a soldier in the family and had worked his way up the ladder, and still, Francesca was forbidden to him. He had fought his long attraction to Francesca for many years. Never feeling like he was good enough for her. Gio and Francesca's journey is fraught with obstacles, danger, secrets, cruelty, turmoil, and heartache. In the face of it all, they stood by and never gave up on each other. Their story is by far my favourite.

Once again, Eva Caine and Walker Williams performed flawlessly. They embodied Gio and Francesca, emulating the intensity of their emotions, passion, and desire, bringing their story to life. The Beast I Can't Tame is a wonderfully written and suspenseful forbidden romance with quality narration. It was definitely worth the listen.

These characters are getting better as the series continues. With lots of issues throwing themselves in this couples way, can they get through it? Lots of action as well as twists and turns. Great performance.

The Beast I Can't Tame is book 3 in the Brooklyn Kings Series.

I was looking forward to Francesca and Giovanni's story after listening to book 2. These two have been dancing around each other and their feelings. Loved watching their connection grow into a great relationship. Francesca went through a traumatic experience several years ago and Giovanni treated her with such care and Gio, also had some issues to work through but they both helped the other heal and be there for them during the hard times. There was secrets, suspense, and many twists and turns throughout the story.

Overall, this a was great addition to this series and one I really found entertaining with wonderful characters.

Eva Caine and Walker Williams did a fantastic job with the narration and making me feel connected to the story.
