It’s a nice fluffy listen. I feel neither here nor there about this purchase. Both characters were decent people. The MMC was a bit frustrating at times but he got there at the very end. I wish the book was a bit longer though: I felt as if the ending could have been more rounded out and maybe an epilogue would have been nice, as is customary for these types of books. All in all it’s cute. The narrator was adequate. Neither stellar nor eardrum haemorrhage inducing either, in other words: it was bearable.
If you want a profound and original tale, I would not recommend this book. If you want something simple and straightforward to pass the time, then make the purchase.
