This is book 2 in Jonathan Smidt's Elemental Gunfighter series. The story of Alexander Davenport, known as Mr Jones, with extraordinary powers is obsessed on avenging his mentor and friend Randal. Randal was murdered.
This is a strong, quite well written powerful novel. Mr Jones goes from being a solo killer to a well skilled gunslinger willing to work with others.
Revenge being the motivator in this book makes the storyline riveting. Mr Jones powers increase as he develops his skills. He learns the value of friendship and teamwork as he hunts down the killers of his mentor Randal, determined to make them pay.
