Dr. Leigh Culver loves practicing medicine in Timberlake, Colorado. It is a much-needed change of pace from her stressful life in Chicago. The only drawback is she misses her Aunt Helen, the woman who raised her. This is the second of Robyn Carrs books that I’ve read about the lives and people in this town. I haven’t followed the sequence of this series of books, but it’s not really necessary as there’s always a sufficient backfill for all the characters. Therese Plummer is excellent in her narration. I highly recommend this series.
