An enjoyable story of Josephine and Holden's meeting and subsequent romance. Although short it provides a springboard for the rest of the series as the background of the Winters family and their tragic history will unfold. The narrators did an amazing job of bringing the characters to life.

This book I really wanted to like as I love romances. However this book was more lust than love and was too fast paced for my liking…also struggled to like the main female protagonist 🥺
