I didn’t mind the early chapters about writing but the commentary was a bit repetitive and relentless. I didn’t mind the interviews with the brothers but god the Lassiter section was deadly boring and far too long! Overall I thinks it was a bit self-indulgent book, provided few elements of new material

At first I was thinking that I'd read every single BDB book, more than once, plus the spinoffs, so what could a 20 year revIew do for me ?
I can honestly say, I enjoyed every single second of it. JR's candid and unfiltered personality, her reflections and sense of humour And how she described her relationship with the 'family' members. And the Wrath and Beth story is oh, so good ! Enjoy it, yourself....
