l was so shocked by this book l had wrongly thought it was a copy of Kristan Hannah who l adore but how wrong was l A great story completely different and unique to anything love read previously The narration was a tiny bit fast but still acceptable Overall l enjoyed it a lot

Really nicely written story set in WW2, nothing more to add here as it’s all there in the summary.

The characters were well drawn and believable, I personally engaged more as I knew the areas in haute Savoie, but equally had I not it’s still very good.

Narration was excellent both male and female voices, without any stupid accents for the French or Germans characters.

Highly recommend if you like a good WW2 storyline.
