A beautiful landscape…

It began as the project of a lifetime. A group of archaeologists uncovering the remains of a Roman settlement in the English countryside.

A looming threat…

But strange threatening letters shatter the idyll, and former detective Jake Jackson is pulled in to investigate.

A killer closing in…

Then a murder. And now the race is on for Jake to find the killer, before they strike again…

I enjoyed the main characters and the plot was constructed quite well with a reasonable level of suspense

Enjoyable murder mystery

Pleased to return to the landscape and characters…but didn’t find this tale as compelling as the previous 2. Lacked a little of the grit - perhaps the archaeological plot line felt a bit tame. I’m still looking forward to the next one though…

A welcome return to Little Sky
