A large part of the appeal of Dr Seuss books is the strange and fantastic pictures that accompany the rhymes. Obviously you are not going to get these with an audio book. I would therefore recommend this only once you have got the books. That way your child and you can really enjoy the thorough nonsense of the Seuss phenomenon.
