Didn’t have high hopes for this beforehand.
I was wrong. This collection of short stories is excellent and is a must for completists of, or who’ve liked, this author’s work.
The late Zafon is such a magnificent writer I suspect his shopping lists would’ve been compelling.

I love all of Ruiz's novels, especially the Shadow in the Wind series.However, this selection of short stories didn't meet the high standards of his novels.They include some similar Gothic and political themes, well narrated but..It is such a shame that the author died so young.
