This trilogy is fantastic. I’m so happy I had all three books, if I would of had to wait for the second or third book I would not of been so happy! Great storyline, fantastic characters and Savannah’s performance is a lethal combination.

This is my second series by Meli Raine. Even though her series are all separate, they appear to all be interconnected as well. I wish I had known that when I started listening to these so that I could have listened to them in order instead of backwards. Either way, they are all very good. I really love that all three books are sold as a box set so it only costs one credit instead of three. That alone makes this book quite a bargain. Then there is also the fact that it is well-written and jam packed full of suspense, danger, mystery, secrets and lies, twists and turns, and hot and sexy characters. Savannah Peachwood did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves romantic suspense.

Carrie returns hom to clear her father's name from the wrong that has been done. As she searches for proof, she uncovers deceit, death and the truth. Carrie is so determined to find out the truth but she does not know who to trust. So when her old boyfriend, Mark, offers help, she is weary. I love the push and pull between Carrie and Mark. It adds to the story as they try to work out their past, while trying to figure out their future. The suspense is very intense in this story, the romance is heart warming and the twists will have you wanting more.

Savannah Peachwood really brings this story to life. Ms. Peachwood has a great voice and can easily separate the characters. She brings the hang on the edge of your seat suspense and keeps the drama and emotions flowing. I always enjoy listening to anything Ms. Peachwood narrates.

Meli Raine is fast becoming a fav author

Savannah is a good narrator as usual, although I wasn’t a huge fan of her Irish accent for Eric, one of the characters. But she did an admirable job playing multiple characters. She may have overacted in a few spots but I kind of expect that for a 16 hour audiobook. it also would have been better as a dual POV- we don't know at all what Mark was feeling in this book.

There is a lot happening in this story. Carrie comes home after her father passes. She meets her ex, Mark, who she kind of blames for her father’s death. She wants to figure out the reason for her father’s imprisonment and subsequent death. There’s also an arc about a possible serial killer and torturer so they need to figure that out, who kidnaps her best friend. There’s suspense, intrigue and a few disturbing scenes that made my heart pound. (There were moments that I wish Carrie had a stronger constitution- hearing, "where is Mark" multiple times got a little tiring. I think I just prefer a stronger female character.)

This story read like a tv show- you know, those shows that stop JUST when an explanation is coming. That builds the intensity of the story and I was really intent on hearing about what happens, especially during the last book of the trilogy.

Overall, this was an interesting and heart pounding story. By the way, characters from Raine’s prior trilogy and her future trilogy (Harmless) are in this story. Those from the first story play an important role in this story so if you have the opportunity (and the constitution) to read/listen to what is probably another nerve wracking story, it’ll be worth it, I’m sure!

The Coming Home series box set was a great thrill and suspense. This was a full of passion and drama. Carrie Myerson is in the middle of it all. This story can get a little cheesy and could do with much substance. I loved the twist and turns and the ups and downs. A perfect performance by Savannah Peachwood.
