About this listen

The Complete Novels of Charles Dickens: Part Two brings together Dickens' final 8 complete masterpieces (including Great Expectations, A Tale of Two Cities, Our Mutual Friend, David Copperfield, and many more) alongside his final, unfinished novel, The Mystery of Edwin Drood. This collection is seamlessly brought to life by a cast of award-winning narrators, including Stephen Fry, Miriam Margolyes, Samuel West, Paterson Joseph, Jonathan Keeble, David Rintoul, Julie Teal, and Ben Allen.

Dickens wrote into life some of the most beloved and well-known characters in the history of English literature, introducing us to Pip, Oliver Twist, David Copperfield, Little Nell, Scrooge, Nicholas Nickleby, Miss Haversham, and many more who have lived in the imagination of generations. In this definitive and beautifully curated collection, you'll discover some of Dickens's most beloved classics and walk the streets of London, Paris, and the misty Kent marshes with the 'one of the greatest writers of all time' (BBC).

What more could you want than this list of audiobook royalty reading Dickens' greatest works! Particularly enjoying Our Mutual Friend firstly, but can't wait to listen to all of this and savour great performances. Easy to jump around to different books, too, which is always a bonus. Really worth your time.

FANTASTIC!

Might well be my favourite Audible purchase - fantastic narrators all round and great production. And easy to find each novel in the contents (I've listed to Bleak House, Great Expectations, and Dombey and Hard Times so far, and loved them all). Looking forward to listening to the rest.
