a funny entertaining collection of stories. I loved the readers, the stories and the content.

Muriel wrote candidly and humorously about the lives she saw around her. and I throughly enjoyed the collection.

there were the odd word that made me wince. So if this bothers you avoid.

Mad accents. What were they thinking? Fox doing the six counties as northern English? Lovely Grant going pure bonkers.
Really great stories (unsettling and funny) along with terrible ones..I wish I could go back with named stories.
