I've thoroughly enjoyed these two books and I sincerely hope the rest of the series will become available on audible with the same narrator. It's a deeply romantic tale woven into crusading adventure along the pilgrim route. The story does a good job of following the different perspectives of the main characters . There is a rich thread of irony & wit. The narrator is convincing as the voice of a Knight Templar & moves seemlessly into the female characters & the rest of the mixed entourage. Historical romantic fiction at its best.
