I can’t imagine reading this rather than listening to it. The author narrator tells his story with clarity and it’s a revelation.

Much of the Lakota history is oral. Listening to this book was like being told a fantastic true oral history of the battle of the Little Bighorn by a Lakota warrior. I cannot recommend this book enough.

Unnecessary and deplorable punishment perpetrated on an indigenous and respectful race of people written and read by, in my opinion, one of the best writers of the day... Brilliant
