About this listen

A bloody ritual murder.

A wave of unexplained disappearances.

And a quiet seaside town beginning to unravel.

Veronica Belle came to Potter's Neck to write horror stories—not to live one. When charismatic author Vince Drake arrives in town, strange events escalate. An unseen and terrifying force is moving through the shadows… and Vince and Veronica are in its sights.

Monsters are real.

And whatever is rising in Potter's Neck thirsts for something far greater than anyone imagines.

As fear spreads and alliances form, Veronica must decide who to trust—and whether the legends she thought were fiction are the only thing standing between her town and total annihilation.

Because some legends never die…

They awaken.

I thought it was an ok story, it was a bit tame for my liking but I got to the end, overall ok.

Probably the best Vampire book I've read. Loved the way it switched back and fourth between now and the past.

Amazing

The entire book was captivating, especially when exploring Dracula & his rivals. I didn't quite grasp the intrigue surrounding Veronica. It wasn't quite explained as to why Drake was so drawn to her. However, I hope to find out more in book 2!

The merging of Dracula the Vampire & Vlad the impaler was well done.
