Just enough thriller/murder content for those (like me) who love the genre, but moreover such deep understanding of relationships and people. Haunting and riveting.

While this book deals with an horrendous topic there is a real love story and finding your way back to each other despite the ugliness this world has inflicted upon them. I was rooting for Isabel and Edward the whole time.

Enjoyable darkness

I’ve loved all of Abigail Deans books but this was me is exceptional. Fantastic story, told brilliantly by the 2 main characters via an alternate past and present prose. Absolutely fantastic.
