This without doubt stands out as one of Kerry Barnes most compelling, heart stopping realistic books to date .. taking you through each chapter holding your breath for the next .. emotionally charged and so tragically realistic .. ROLL ON August for Book 2 in the series 🙌🏻

I adore Annie’s narration (as always) but for me the story lacked the depth I’d expect from a Kerry Barnes book, I have thoroughly enjoyed all of her other books but I found this one frustrating, not enough background of main family and barely any reference to Nancy until the end. But still read it and although enjoyable I was left wanting more.
