Summary
This collection of short stories has several stories and only one of the stories is not about the old west. A woman searching for some substance in her life ventures into the Devil's own canyon. A huge crippled grizzly turns man eater in "The Brute".
Shady Sadie is up to her evil ways. A pregnant woman is waiting in her cabin on Wolf Creek Pass while her husband is away buying supplies, when she receives an unexpected Visitor. A rancher goes looking for his lost brother and finds more than he bargained for at The Crossroads Inn. A young man makes the most important decision while trying to catch a big old smart brown trout named Old Sam.
