Well written with historical facts. The narrator was excellent, she made me chuckle a few times with her different accents. Well worth a listen if you love 1910 sagas.

Fantastic Story!

Loved all of this brilliant story. Slight overuse of ‘arched a brow’ but other than that it was extremely well read and well written. A great listen.

The narration was perfect and the story had interesting twists and turns right to the end.

Both the story and the narration. Rosie Clarke never fails!

I thought it was a historical romance, but it was more than that. it was dangerous, shocking, sad, historically educational and in the end happy. I think if you are old enough to remember Upstairs Downstairs and young enough to remember Downton Abbey you'll like this one.

this first book that made me cry
