Well iv been gambling since I was 12 and am now 30. Haven't went more then a week without gambling and when I did I wanted to gamble the whole time. My gambling addiction had really gotten out of hand, for the past year things had become a nightmare and I was gambling every day, I realised that this was unsustainable and deliberated checking myself into a rehabilitation centre.

I came across this title and without much hope downloaded it listening in whilst driving. I didn't stop gambling whilst I was listening to the book until the last chapter, when I suddenly realised that I had no desire to gamble, at all! I completed the book on the 4th March 2024 and can honestly say that I have had absolutely no urges to gamble .in fact I haven't thought about gambling at all!

The reason for writing this review today, is that I was checking through my account statements and realised that I haven't gambled since the 4th March and that for a minute I didn't realise what the past transactions meant on my bank statement, I had totally forgotten about my addiction, so much so that it has come as a massive shock to me that I used to be addicted to gambling, what a crazy statement to make.

I cannot recommend this book highly enough!
