All the characters and relationships are so good . Great story following on from the others . The narrator is just incredible !

Very much enjoyed this one. I had missed it’s release and so it had been a while since listening to the series, and it all came flooding back! Colin is an absolutely fantastic narrator, he brings the book to life and takes you on the rollercoaster of emotions written into the pages.

I’m not sure what it is about this series; is it the way it’s written? Is it the way it’s narrated? I have no idea but it grates on my nerves and I say “no more I’m not getting the next one. I can’t do another 16 hrs of cringing” But here I am 3 books into the series and I will probably get the next one when I’ve forgotten how bad I thought this one was written but I will need to find out what’s next.

Great balance of thrilling drama, laugh out loud humour and resonance with contemporary political issues. Love Colin Morgan's reading, he gives a perfectly judged performance that brings the characters to life.

so I very nearly stopped listening after the first couple of chapters as itbwas way more hammy than intemembered the 1st two books to be ... but I embraced Colin Morgans narration of what I can only describe as the b movie of audiobooks.
I ended up thoroughly enjoying it. ... full on brain out fun
