I had listened to another audio, with this main character, and his girlfriend. Just discovered, it isn't a one off. The South Carolina accents started to bleed into one, and so towards end hard to keep up with who each was from- if it were just a a bit easier, or perhaps fewer - then another 5 stars!

this is the third book I have listened to really by the author. narrator was absolutely fantastic. can't wait to listen to some more

Liked the story, but possibly due to abridged version it was a bit confusing/ and I simply could not relate the characters that J Deaver created into this ‘tame version’ of themselves: where have the feisty characters gone?
So sadly: I would stop here with the series, if I had not already got to know other narrator. Looking forward to hearing them again!
